What we do
We investigate the behaviour, ecology and evolution of lizards. In addition to lizards, we are currently working on tree frogs and cane toads and have previously worked on snakes, mole-rats and Malawi cichlids. We are part of the Department of Biological Sciences, within the Division of Brain, Behaviour and Evolution at Macquarie University. History of the Lab
In October 2009 Martin Whiting moved from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in Johannesburg, where he was in the School of Animal, Plant & Environmental Sciences, to Macquarie University in Sydney. The lab quickly grew with the arrival of four PhD students in early 2010. Visit people to learn more about current and previous lab members.
