Yes everyone, it’s what we’ve all been waiting for- the water dragon babies are hatching!! YAY!  The first baby hatched on 03/01/11, here are some photos of his super-cute emergence:

Jonathan Losos catches a water dragon, just.

Recently, the Lizard Lab had the pleasure of a visit from Jonathan Losos (Harvard University). Ofcourse, this meant a trip to the water dragon site for some dragon wrangling. Here are a few photos of the action.

The water dragon project gets a series of high profile visitors!

Prior to the ISBE conference in Perth, the Lizard Lab was visited by Mike Cant (University of Exeter), Marlene Zuk (UC Riverside) and John Alcock (Arizona State University). All visited the water dragon site (at different times) and tried their hands at catching water dragons.
